Girl's Date

Alexis, Lily, and I went to see the Kit Kittredge movie yesterday after we helped unpack from camping.

We have been looking forward to seeing this film for quite a while, so we made sure to go on opening day. We went to the first showing in Vacaville, at 3:20, with dolls in tow. Alexis actually has the Kit doll, she got her a few years back. Lily still does not have one of the big American Girl dolls, so she brought her Madame Alexander doll along instead.

The movie was really fun and sweet. We enjoyed our time together thoroughly. Our only problem now is that Lily is simply dying to have a "big" doll, and not just the miniature ones. And Christmas seems so far away...
