David for hire

David, 8 1/2, had been mowing our lawn for about the past 3 years. It initially started with him walking along with Ez, helping to push. Then it was David pushing and Ez there to assist, which of course has led to less and less parental involvement as he has gotten older and stronger.

This is the one job David does on a regular basis that earns him money. Being rather young for the job, we tend to expect a few little missed spots here and there and hope he will get those the next week! A couple of weeks ago I was outside while David was mowing and was rather impressed at how good he has recently gotten! The front yard looked really good--no missed spots! Perhaps he will have to expand his operation...
