Lily's New Year's Resolution

The first day back in school from Christmas break, David came home and told us they had to write an essay about their New Year's Resolution. Of course David's was very David-esque. He would like to become better at video games. Hmm....priorities?

Lily decided that she really wanted to learn to ride her bike without the training wheels this year. The weather was perfect for bike riding a few Saturdays ago, and Ez was home and able to assist, so he and Lily set out to ride that bike! It took about 40 minutes to really get her comfortable and confident, but then she was off!

Lily rides her bike as much as possible now. The back patio is the perfect size for her bike, so she can ride in the back whenever she wants. The back yard is fun enough, but she really loves to get out in the front yard--she can ride her bike forever out there!

We are proud of her reaching her goal so quickly.
