Ez and the boys left this afternoon for the annual father/son campout. They were loaded up with dinner and snacks and lots of drinks, the tent, sleeping bags, and of course the battery charged air mattress (because we are all about roughing it).
David and Joe were so excited to go and play and be dirty and have fun with dad. Ez took a camera with him, and hopefully will come home tomorrow with a few fun photos. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Ours was 2 weeks ago...when it was pouring! The boys were SO bummed! Hope the guys had fun and hope you and the girls were able to go shopping!
Ours was the same night! Lots of fun apparently. You blog like I do. In one day your blog gets slammed with everything that's happened in the last couple of weeks. I love to catch up with you guys. You have always been such a fun family. I am always amazed how you manage to keep up all the kids while still maintaining. I made the mistake of blogging today and the kids destroyed their rooms and bathroom. I literally could not open Clay's door for all the stuff! I had to go through the bathroom to it. Now I'm on a rampage just to get them to get it back to our standard of filth. Love your blog as always!
Sounds like great fun! Hope they had a good time -- and I think there is no shame in sleeping on an air mattress -- it is a total staple in camping, in my opinion... :)
